Christine Watkins, Chairman of the Board
Christine Watkins chairs INVISION’s Board, serving in a strategic role for the company. Christine and her team drove the development of DealMaker, the leading advertising sales system in the television industry. Christine served as CEO of INVISION until 2009, overseeing the management of INVISION and focusing on product design and strategic sales initiatives. Prior to starting INVISION, Christine was a project manager on two major software development projects for ABC. While at ESPN, she was the business manager for the development of an integrated sales and traffic system, the first of its kind in the industry. Christine's degrees are from the University of Michigan for studies in Mathematics, Systems and Physics.
Lynda Clarizio, CEO
Lynda Clarizio joined INVISION as our CEO in 2009, bringing over ten years of outstanding management experience in the digital media industry growing and scaling advertising technology businesses. Prior to joining INVISION, Lynda served as President of AOL’s Platform-A, the industry’s largest digital advertising platform. Lynda also served as President of Advertising.com, managing the industry’s largest third party online advertising network. (Advertising.com previously was operated as an independent subsidiary of AOL and became part of Platform-A.) Lynda held several other positions at AOL, which she joined in 1999. She was the Executive Vice President of AOL’s Audience Business responsible for strategy, finance and business development. Lynda also was AOL’s Senior Vice President for corporate strategic and financial planning and Senior Vice President for acquisitions and strategic investments. While in the latter role, she led AOL’s acquisition of Advertising.com. Lynda was named one of 2008’s “Women to Watch” by Advertising Age and one of 2009’s “25 Executives to Watch in Digital Entertainment” by Digital Media Wire. Lynda is a 1985 graduate of Harvard Law School and a 1982 graduate of Princeton University.
Steve Marshall
Steve Marshall has served as a director of INVISION since 1993. From INVISION’s inception until early 2009, Steve served as INVISION’s Chief Information Officer and was responsible for all technology, infrastructure and software development of INVISION’s market leading products. Prior to INVISION, Steve ran his own software consulting company in Atlanta, designing and developing systems for telecommunication and media clients. He also served as a senior consultant for Keane Consulting, working for media and banking clients. Steve holds a B.S. in Business and M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Florida. Steve continues to do strategic consulting in the media industry for major media clients but is now focused on spending more time with his family in Atlanta.
Ralph Terkowitz, General Partner, ABS Capital Partners
Ralph is a General Partner at ABS Capital Partners whose investment interests and experience include both media & communications and software companies. Prior to joining ABS Capital in 2004, Ralph served as CIO/CTO of the Washington Post Company. During his tenure, Ralph worked with the Post’s six divisions on all major technology and development operations and investments. From 1996 to 2003, he had primary responsibility for The Washington Post’s venture investment portfolio. Under his direction, performance exceeded that of other corporate venture investors who manage for both strategic value and investment returns. Also while at The Washington Post, Ralph served as founder and CEO of its electronic publishing subsidiary, WashingtonPost. Newsweek Interactive (formerly DigitalInk). The subsidiary became known for its innovation and led the industry in developing new revenue models for electronic media. One of the products which Ralph created, washingtonpost.com, continues to be among the most visited news and information sites on the Internet. Ralph brings a combination of entrepreneurial spirit, operational know-how and genuine enthusiasm to everything he does and is never slow to call upon his many industry contacts for the benefit of his companies.
Bobby Goswami, General Partner, ABS Capital Partners
Bobby is a General Partner at ABS Capital Partners whose investment interests and experience include software and technology services companies. Prior to joining ABS Capital in 2001, Bobby worked in Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown’s Technology Investment Banking Group, where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions. In all, he has nearly ten years of investment banking experience with Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown, Merrill Lynch, and Goldman Sachs in equity and fixed income financing, as well as M&A. Bobby’s years in banking gave him a wide-ranging skill set allowing him to rapidly assess companies -- both in understanding their business models and their competitive advantages. He frequently worked with boards and CEOs at premier technology growth companies and has a large network of these executives as a result -- which he frequently calls upon when working with his portfolio companies. Before entering investment banking, Bobby spent four years in the systems practice at Andersen Consulting where he gained a deep understanding of technology and development issues.
Mark Hastings, Managing Director, CIBC Capital
Mark Hastings is head of the U.S. Merchant Bank. The merchant bank is the private equity arm of CIBC World Markets. The merchant bank's investment focus is closely aligned with CIBC World Market's investment banking industry groups including technology/media, healthcare, business services, consumer, and industrial. Prior to joining CIBC Capital Partners, Mark was a General Partner at BCI Partners, a private equity firm, with USD$800 million under management. Prior to that Mark spent several years at Edison Ventures. Present and prior investments include: Adaytum Software (acquired by Cognos), CashEdge, Corillian (Nasdaq: CORI), Data Labs (acquired by Lucent), Fuelquest, RenewData, Seisint (acquired by LexisNexis, member of Reed Elsevier Group plc), Telelogic (TLOG), Tylink (acquired by Sync Research), Viewlocity (acquired by Synquest), Verid, Visual Networks (Nasdaq: VNWK) and Yantra (acquired by Sterling Commerce). Mark is a graduate of the Bachelor of Arts in Economics program at Colorado College and holds an MBA from the Wharton School of Business.
