Functional Support Analyst

Job Functions

·  Provide onsite support for one of INVISION’s largest, multi-network clients.

·  Primary liaison to INVISION for all Dealmaker-related functional and technical issues.

·  Initial contact for and assessment of all DealMaker issues from both Sales and Traffic operations (Orion) users.

·  Enter all issues into client’s ticketing system and follow standard issue/ticket handling procedure.

·  Resolve issues independently where possible, including user questions and errors.

·  Provide full backup to technical support lead on infrastructure related issues.

·  Work closely with users to understand their business process to quickly and effectively resolve complex issues.

·  Engage necessary client, Dealmaker, and Orion teams for support services.

·  Manage outages and obtain infrastructure services to resolve, ensuring the most effective and efficient resolution.

·  Provide full backup to technical support lead on infrastructure related issues.

·  Work closely with Orion Support analyst to determine root cause of all user and/or technical issues.

·  Escalate high impact issues to INVISION Client Support Manager.

·  Take ownership of helpdesk process flow and documentation for setting up new users.

·  Support client’s internal Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) testing and reporting.

·  Project manage medium sized projects related to Dealmaker.


Candidate must also have the following skills or characteristics:

·   Excellent communication and writing skills

·  Patience, ability to work under pressure, well organized

·  Media ad sales experience (broadcast / cable) required

·  Self-starter who can take the initiative and work to agreed upon goals

·  Strong work ethic and ability to work in a high pressure environment

·  Ability to work independently or manage a team in a variety of situations

·  Ability to plan, organize, prioritize and provide reports on progress

·  Solutions-oriented

·  Honesty, integrity and professionalism


Ideal candidate will have the following background:
     

·   Experience in a Support role within a media ad sales organization.

·  Advanced knowledge of the DealMaker applications (ad sales, digital, traffic)

·  Knowledge of DealMaker interfaces with various traffic systems
