Sun Microsystems® is a world leader in both hardware and software. DealMaker is based on and is a VAR (value-add reseller) for its Sun Open Net Environment Unified Development Server (Sun ONE UDS) software. The Sun ONE UDS (formerly iPlanet Unified Development Server) software provides a set of development tools and services to enable creation, deployment, and management of networked applications. This software is used to develop enterprise-wide customer applications with both desktop and server components in a multi-tiered, cross-platform environment.




Video Communications, Inc. (VCI) is based in Springfield, Massachusetts and has been developing traffic solutions since 1984. Among its products is OrionTM, the next generation of the industry’s leading STARS II+, traffic and accounting software.  Orion™ includes all of the standard functions and modules of STARS II+ and adds dynamic new features that provide greater efficiency and enhanced profitability. 

In 2000, INVISION INC. and VCI launched the initial paperless integration of the DealMakerTM and Stars II+ systems. This constitutes the first such business-to-business integration (B2Bi) of a sales and traffic system in the industry.

INVISION is a certified Citrix® provider and has certified DealMaker for use on many of the Citrix® platforms. With Citrix® solutions you don't have to go to the office - the office follows you. All the information you need to work productively can be available from a single, personalized Web interface.

Citrix provides solutions to INVISION that allow our clients to manage and deploy business applications from central servers using Citrix MetaFrame XP™ software. Applications can be aggregated into a Citrix NFuse® Elite access portal. Clients benefit from seamless connectivity, security and a consistent user experience anytime, anywhere.

DealMaker uses the Oracle RDBMS for the database server. Oracle's Enterprise Edition provides efficient, reliable, secure data management for high-end applications such as high volume on-line transaction processing (OLTP) environments, query-intensive data warehouses and demanding Internet applications. Oracle9i Enterprise Edition provides the tools and functionality to meet the availability and scalability requirements of today's mission-critical applications for the enterprise.

 


DealMaker is an authorized JBOSS Service Partner and bundles the JBOSS application server within certain INVISION products.
